Maikling checklist ito para hindi ka maligaw sa paghahanda ng Adjustment of Status (AOS). I-review pa rin ang pinakabagong USCIS instructions bago mag-file.

Core forms

• I-485: Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
• I-130: Immigrant Petition for Alien Relative (kung family-based at di pa na-file)
• I-864: Affidavit of Support (family-based); I-944 nawala na, hindi na kailangan
• I-765 (opsyonal para sa work permit) at I-131 (opsyonal para sa advance parole)

Identity at status evidence

• Kopya ng passport bio page at visa page
• I-94 record (print mula sa CBP site kung available)
• Birth certificate + English translation kung hindi English ang dokumento
• Kung may dating EAD o permits, ilakip ang kopya

Relasyon (kung marriage/family)

• Marriage certificate (at translation kung kailangan)
• Joint evidence: lease/mortgage, joint bank statements, insurance, bills, litrato na may petsa, affidavits kung kulang ang joint docs

Financial (I-864)

• Latest tax return o IRS transcript
• W-2/1099, pay stubs, employment letter
• Kung joint sponsor: parehong set ng financial proofs

Medical exam

• Sealed Form I-693 mula sa civil surgeon; dalhin ang kopya mo para sa records

Kung may history o concerns

• Police clearances/court dispositions sa anumang arrest o citation
• Proof ng lawful entries/exits; timeline ng travel kung may gaps
• Notes sa posibleng inadmissibility at kung kailangan ng I-601/I-601A waiver

Pag-file tips

• Gumamit ng tamang fee at edition ng forms; i-check ang USCIS fee page sa araw ng paghahain.
• Lagyan ng cover letter at table of contents para malinaw ang laman ng packet.
• Gumamit ng tracking number; itabi ang resibo at USCIS account access code.

After filing

• Biometrics: sumipot sa schedule, dalhin ang ID at notice.
• EAD/AP updates: bantayan sa USCIS account.
• Interview prep: dalhin ang originals at updated joint evidence; magsanay sa Tagalog o English—alin ang komportable.
